Course Description


Big Question: How do waves affect our everyday lives, where can we see them and how can we harness their power to help us?

 


This junior science course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts and properties of waves, with a specific focus on light, heat and sound waves. Through hands-on experiments and investigations, students will develop a deeper understanding of wave behaviour, wave propagation and the applications of waves in various real-world contexts. By the end of the course, students will be able to comprehend the nature of waves and their significance in the fields of optics, thermodynamics and acoustics.
