Junior Music: Songwriting (2)

MUSSNG
Course Description Recommended Prior Learning

This course has no recommended prior learning.

The big question: Should music be used as a form of expression?

In this class, you'll be the mastermind behind creating killer tunes in all sorts of styles and genres. Get ready to:

  • Craft catchy lyrics and melodies that'll stick in your head for days.

  • Cook up some sick chord progressions to make your songs pop.

  • Piece together musical ideas like a puzzle to create tracks that'll have everyone singing along.

And guess what? If you're itching to pick up an instrument (or fine-tune your voice), our instrumental/vocal tutors are here to help – and the best part? It's all on the house!

Thinking about tackling NCEA Level One Music down the road? We recommend pairing this class with at least one other music course to really round out your skills. Or, if you're ready to dive deep, consider joining our full-year Music Academy course.

So, grab your pen, strum your guitar, and let's start making some musical magic in Songwriting class!
