Course Description Recommended Prior Learning

Successful completion of the Year 10 'Let's Explore Sign Language' course is a requirement for Year 11. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Head of Languages.

This course will build on the 'Let's Explore Sign Language' course. Students will learn about Deaf history, Deaf culture, correct grammar structures and new signs. By the end of the course students will feel confident signing in a range of situations for a range of purposes.
