Level 3 Design

Course Description

PURPOSE: This course provides students with the opportunity to develop design skills, by exploring and refining their own designs. This course will also provide students with skills and understanding to communicate information using visual methods which provides students with an understanding and ability to utilise technologies and exhibition opportunities. Students will be developing a project of their choice incorporating architectural knowledge.

COURSE OUTLINE: During this course students will develop work on a range of personal projects. In response to a provided brief, students will develop design solutions to product design and architectural projects. Assessment for this course is through a combination of Internal and External Achievement Standards.

Must have completed DESGN202, or DESGN101 subject to interview. Students who have not completed these courses may be considered at the discretion of the Head of Department, Digital & Design Technologies.
