Level 3 External Chemistry

Course Description

PURPOSE: This course is for students who enjoyed Chemistry at Year 12 and would like to continue to study Chemistry in Year 13 and beyond.

COURSE OUTLINE: There are two externally assessed achievement standards and one internal achievement standard. This course is not eligible for subject endorsement.

This is an external and internal Chemistry course for students who are interested to learn about the fundamentals of the subject. This course is recommended for students who are planning to study Science at university and pursue a career in Science, Health Sciences, Engineering etc. In CHEM 333 students will learn the role that Chemistry plays in the world around us. Students who are interested in studying Chemistry at University, are encouraged to undertake both CHEM333 and CHEM303.
