Course Description
Course Outline:
This is an Achievement Standard based course where students design and make a garment to meet the requirements of their stakeholder. Students will develop concepts and final designs for a garment to meet a brief and specifications. They will complete a folio with a variety of surface design techniques and complex procedures to be incorporated into their design. These should reflect the students’ creativity and interests. This course is a University pathway course if students wish to take fashion design at University level.

Success in any Year 12 Technology or prior sewing experience is an advantage. Students who have not completed a Technology may be eligible to join at the discretion of the HoD or teacher in charge.
