Big Question -  Where did we come from, where are we going and are we alone?

Scientists now believe that the solar system is only a tiny part of the universe. This course aims to introduce students to the wonders of our universe, and  how scientific progress is pushing the boundaries of our understanding of the cosmos. During this course students will investigate big ideas such as:  What happens to a  star at the end of its life? Where did life on Earth come from? What happens to the human body in space? When or will humans get to Mars? The course will be driven by students' curiosity to learn about the solar system, stars, exoplanets the key features of our galaxy and how humans are exploring our place in space.
