Let's start Sign Language- Part A (1)

This course is a semester long and will be offered in both semester 1 and 2. 

The big question: Why should you learn a language? 

Find out why in this introduction to one of NZ’s official languages: New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL). It is an introduction to signed languages, as well as the D/deaf community. In this course students will learn the alphabet, how to introduce themselves, be able to describe their feelings as well as information about themselves. Students will have a range of different types of learning activities, and will use technology to create videos of themselves signing.
