Junior Drama: Stage Production (1)
Course Description
The big question: What role does drama play in shaping our understanding of human experiences and emotions?
Students will participate in creating a production from beginning to end. They will learn key acting skills, such as using the acting techniques, voice, movement, space and body to create a fully realised character and the organisational and design processes of creating the world of a play.
Recommended Prior Learning
This course has no recommended prior learning.
Pathway
This can be linked to NCEA Level One Drama. It is recommended that two different junior drama courses are taken over year 9 and 10 in preparation for NCEA Level 1 Drama.
