Tech My Art (1)

This is a semester long course and will be offered in semester 1. 

Big Question: Does culture influence art or does art influence culture?

Students will learn how to follow the design process to create an original Munny doll outcome. They will explore what an artist is and how are artists are influenced by culture. They will learn skills in painting and 3 dimensional art.

Students’ will develop practical art skills, problem-solving skills, lateral thinking, self-motivation and creative thinking. Students will investigate art from a range of cultural origins and develop ideas in order to produce personal and original artworks. Students are encouraged to explore their creativity and develop a strong work ethic as well as develop an awareness or their own and others cultural and values.

Students may study Art for one semester or two semesters. We recommend a full year course for those interested in the Senior Art Pathway.
